Guys, what’s happening?! Each month seems to go by faster and faster! I mean, can you believe it’s October already?! I almost forgot to write a new Monthly Highlights! The past month was very chaotic. I broke my laptop. (Yeah, you read that correctly.) I also spent way too much money and I didn’t have much energy to go out and do something fun, which is pretty frustrating. Being pregnant is really exhausting, but I still try to do as much as possible, even though it’s hard.
Anyway, let’s talk about my monthly highlights of September 2018 instead of whining about what went wrong, shall we? The first post of this series was a mix of personal favorites, interesting blog posts and a lot of other things. Check it out if you’re interested! This time, I would love to discuss some of my favorite purchases, talk a bit about my Fall bucket list and share a few of my favorite Instagram accounts that I’ve discovered in the past month, so take a seat and enjoy!
❤ My favorite purchases of September.
I love shopping, that’s a fact. It’s one of my favorite things to do, especially around Halloween. I don’t know, I’m really obsessed with spooky stuff for some reason. My mother came to visit me a few times and we picked up some amazing things. She also gave me a nice perfume and some scented candles, which I’m really grateful for!
I also bought a few things for the baby, including a breast pump, a baby monitor and this cute little bodysuit! I mean, look at it! It’s perfect for Halloween! Our family and friends are going to love this! I really like buying clothes for the baby, it makes me so happy! I also found a nice pair of fluffy shoes and a cute hat to keep her warm. I’m going to write a blog post about my pregnancy very soon, so make sure to stay on tune!
My love for music has grown a lot since we bought a record player, which is amazing! We decided to expand our music collection with a beautiful LP from Johnny Cash, a CD from Abba, John Denver and a collection from different rock artists. Here is a list of my favorite songs!
- Abba – Dancing Queen
- Abba – Money, Money, Money
- John Denver – Take Me Home, Country Roads
- Alice Cooper – Poison
- Kenny Loggings – Danger Zone
- Europe – Final Countdown
- Survivor – Burning Heart
- Johnny Cash – Jackson
- Johnny Cash – Hurt
- Johnny Cash – Boy Named Sue
❤ I’m obsessed with Autumn.
Autumn is such a beautiful time and that’s why I try to enjoy it as much as possible! A few weeks ago, I decided to create a small bucket list with some of my favorite Fall activities. Check it out! It might inspire you if you’re looking for some ideas as well. I’ve shared some personal activities and added a few DIY projects, which kept me pretty busy, especially when I broke my laptop and had nothing else to do for about a week. Anyway, here is a little list of the activities that I’ve completed in the past month.
- I made my own pumpkin pie spice mix.
- I made warm apple cider.
- I decorated my home with Fall decorations.
- I made a spice rack from an old crate.
- We bought a new LP!

❤ My goals for October.
October will be an exciting month. The baby is coming soon and we also decided to keep better track of our expenses. I made some kind of planner to create a nice overview by the end of the month, which is definitely going to help us out a lot! Our goal is to spend less money and to save as much as possible. Make sure to stay on tune for an update. I would love to discuss some tips and tricks that might help you out as well!

I try to enjoy my free time as much as possible, even though I feel like a walking time bomb now that I’m nearing the end of my pregnancy. It causes a lot of stress for some reason. I think I should meditate more. It’s very relaxing, it helps me to stay focused and I could really use some distraction…
Anyway, thank you so much for passing by! I really appreciate all your love and support! Feel free to follow my blog on Facebook, Bloglovin’, Pinterest, Instagram and Twitter to stay on tune for more blog posts like this!
Enjoy your day!
Lots of love,
