... Eefie's Beautiful Mess: Fall Tag

Fall Tag

Hello, lovely people!

Isn't it beautiful outside? I'm literally in love with all the colors and the changes that nature is going through at the moment. There are leaves everywhere, the days are getting shorter and it’s time to get our sweaters ready again. I know I've mentioned this before, but I really can’t stop talking about it. Fall is such a beautiful time of the year and I also really like Halloween.

I've shared a few recipes, wrote about my Fall bucket list and I thought it would be fun to do a tag related to Autumn as well. The Fall tag is a mix of personal questions that will tell you a bit more about my love for the Fall season. I'm really excited and I can't wait to answer these questions. Feel free to join the club!

What are your plans for this fall season?

I really want to try out some more recipes and DIY crafts. You can check out my Fall bucket list if you're interested. I've shared some fun activities that might inspire you as well. I'm also looking forward to take a nice walk and have a photoshoot, but the weather is really bad at the moment and I don't want to ruin my new camera. It's rainy, windy and pretty cold outside. I guess I'll have to wait until the sun decides to show up again, which might take a while. In the meantime, I’m going to enjoy a few movies and bake a lot of cookies.

What do you love about Fall?

What's not to love about Fall? I mean, it's beautiful, cozy and I'm obsessed with warm sweaters and hot drinks. I really like Autumn. It's my favorite time of the year!

How do you decorate your home?

I love to use fairy lights, lots of candles, pine cones, chestnuts, little figurines, pumpkins and a lot of other cute stuff to make our apartment look nice and cozy. I'm going to buy some new fairy lights soon to cheer up the bedroom as well. I just love a decorated place, especially on special occasions or around the Holidays. It makes everything much more interesting and less boring, don't you agree?

What is your favorite scent for the fall season?

Apple cinnamon, without any doubt!

Fairy lights or candles?

That's a difficult one. Candles are massively cozy and fairy lights are really cute, but I think I would rather buy a candle than fairy lights, especially a scented candle.

What is your favorite hot drink?

You can always make me happy with hot chocolate milk or warm apple cider. I really like white hot chocolate milk as well or a nice cup of tea.

What is your favorite clothing item in the Fall season?

A warm sweater, cozy socks and a huge scarf are definitely my favorite clothing items. I’m also really obsessed with hoodies. When I was a child, I always wore cute skirts and a pair of colorful stockings when the days got colder. I didn’t had any sense of style back then, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It’s just a fun thing to remember.

Silent nights or windy ones?

I love rainy nights, but windy ones are also very comfortable and relaxing. I love to use an app with rain sounds from time to time, especially when I have trouble falling asleep again, which happens quite often.

What do you hate about Autumn?

I'm not a huge fan of the cold, but I can't think of anything that I really hate about Fall. I try to enjoy all the little things in life, even if that includes something I actually don’t like.

What is your favorite pumpkin pie spice recipe?

Warm apple cider! I made it myself a few times, check out the recipe if you want to. It's really easy to make and it doesn't take much time at all. I also wrote a post about how you can make your own pumpkin pie spice mix, which is necessary to add more flavor to the drink. I want to try a pumpkin pie spice milkshake as well, but I always forget to buy bananas.

What are your plans for Halloween this year?

I’m not sure yet. I actually haven’t made any plans yet because the baby is coming very soon. There is a small chance that I’m still in the hospital by then, but I would love to prepare a nice meal, snuggle up in the couch with Jeremy, lit up some candles and watch horror movies together. Hopefully, we can already celebrate Halloween together with Alice, that would be nice!

Apple pie or pumpkin pie?

To be honest, I don’t really like pumpkin, so I would rather have a slice of homemade apple pie.
