8 blogging tools that I love to use!

You can write blog posts as much as you like, but to maintain your blog, you’ll need a few tools that will help you create beautiful photographs, grow your blog, plan your posts and accomplish other tasks you need to do as a blogger. Having a blog isn’t just about writing stuff. It’s much more than that! It takes time and a lot of hard work to create something beautiful, something you can be proud of.

Today, I’m going to share my favorite blogging tools that help me create well-organized blog posts, good photographs, schedule my content and more exciting things that has to do with blogging!

Blogger / WordPress

I personally prefer Blogger instead of WordPress, simply because I don’t have any experience with WordPress at all. I use one of those basic templates from Blogger that I’ve completely customized myself. It’s not that difficult and if you do struggle with this, you can always look for a tutorial that can help you out! It’s really easy to learn, believe me!

Open Live Writer

This is my all-time favorite when it comes to creating content! This program is directly connected to your blog and it’s very easy to use. It allows you to write good-looking articles, add photographs, videos, hyperlinks and other stuff that is needed to create the perfect blog post! You can also set a publish date, which makes it massively easy to plan your content!

❤ Canon PowerShot SX430 IS

I recently bought a new camera and, my God, I’m so happy with it! The quality is amazing! I’m not a really good photographer, that’s for sure, but I feel like I’ve gotten much better in making a decent shot! I’ve been experimenting a lot with different angles, props and backgrounds, lately. Anyway, I think photographs are really important to brighten up your blog and to ensure that people stick around for a while. I mean, can you imagine a blog without anything to look at? Me neither!

Fotor

I’m pretty sure you don’t really need expensive camera equipment if you know how to edit a photograph. I mean, you can take as much shots as you want, but with a little bit more brightness and the right amount of saturation, you can take your image to the next level! I don’t use Photoshop, Lightroom or other complicated, expensive editors. Fotor works just fine for me. It’s free, easy to use and it has everything I personally need.

Canva

This is definitely one of those must have blogging tools every blogger needs! Canva is my best friend when it comes to creating Pinterest graphics, beautiful layouts, logos, frames, Facebook covers, presentations, and the list goes on and on! You should definitely check it out if you haven’t heard of it before! I’m sure you won’t regret it!

My planner

Planning is a very important part of my morning routine. I’m using a cute planner that I bought in a drugstore when I was looking for baby products or something. Anyway, I think it’s necessary to stay well-organized as a blogger. Planning your content can save you a lot of time! It will make things a lot easier and it keeps you productive!

Wunderlist

This app is really useful if you want to write down your blog post ideas! You can easily download it on your phone or tablet, but you can also use it on your computer. I mean, you never know when you get hit by one of those moments of creativity! It can happen anywhere and at any time!

Google Translate

My good, old friend, Google Translate. It might come in handy if you’re writing in another language and you can’t think of that one word. Yeah, I know, you can never fully rely on it but it can help you out a lot! If it works, it works, right?

I also have a little snack (or two) with me while creating content. It helps me stay focused. And take a break now and then. It’s important to clear your mind and to relax a bit. Anyway, these are my all-time favorite tools that I really love to use to maintain my blog. I’ve been using most of them for a couple of years now.

What are your favorite blogging tools? Let me know in the comments down below and feel free to share a link to your blog as well! I’m always happy to discover something new!

Stay on tune:

Lots of love,
Eefie. ❤

  1. I will definitely check out fotor and canva as I am always in need of new photo editing tools! I also use a planner. Another helpful tool for me is to create drafts as soon as inspiration strikes so that when I need to go back on an idea I already have some sort of a layout planned. Great post!
